God in his mysterious ways has united me to this beautiful and joyful Parish Community of St. James-St. Leo in Solana Beach.
Since the time I was the director of the Newman Center at San Diego State University during the early 2000’s, I used to visit St. James some weekends to preside Mass. I got to meet many of the parishioners.
Then I was reassigned to St. Patrick in Carlsbad, and from time to time, I would visit the St. James-St. Leo Community to preside Mass. After 17 years at St. Patrick, now the Lord allows me to move to Solana Beach, and journey together and share life with the St. James-St. Leo Catholic Community.
May the Lord grant me his wisdom and fullness of his Holy Spirit, with a loving heart to be a shepherd according to his heart and inspired by St. John Eudes…to make “Jesus live and reign in our hearts.”
