For many years, home-baked cookies have been an integral part of the Kairos prison ministry weekends at R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in Otay Mesa. Since 2011, St. James has provided thousands of cookies for the effort! We will be accepting cookie donations again this year for distribution at the April Kairos retreat.
April 6 – After 5 pm Mass
April 7 – After 9 & 11:30 am Masses only
Please package your frozen homemade cookies (no packaged or bar cookies, please) in clear, zip-lock freezer bags (so that they may be inspected at the prison). Package no more than two dozen per bag. Questions: Dcn. Peter Hodsdon, deaconpeter@stjames-stleo.com.
