Join SDOP and the Saint James/Saint Leo Social Justice Ministry for a Solana Beach Candidates Forum! Our communities are facing unprecedented challenges. Now more than ever, It’s critical that we make our voices heard and understand candidates’ positions on issues important to us, like future responses to the COVID-19 crisis and housing policy. On September 15th, SDOP will hear from Lesa Heebner, candidate for mayor, and David Zito and Jewel Edson, candidates for city council, about how they will address pain in our Solana Beach community and work with SDOP to create a more just and equitable city.

by Bishop Robert W. McElroy Harpst Center for Catholic
Thought and Culture, University of San Diego, Feb. 6, 2020.

fight for justice.’
