NEW! Church History Class coming to St. James, taught by Dcn. Peter
This course traces the dramatic story of the Church from its earliest days through the rise of Charlemagne. We explore how a small community of believers grew into a global faith amid Roman persecution, internal debates, and cultural upheaval. Along the way, we will meet courageous martyrs, brilliant theologians, and visionary leaders who helped shape Christian identity. Through key events like ecumenical councils and the fall of Rome, the course connects the past to the present, offering insight into how the early Church’s struggles and triumphs continue to influence Catholic life today.
Classes begin June 19-20, run through July 24-25, and are taught Thursday evenings OR Friday mornings. You can sign up for a session, and attend either time each week.
