Stations of the Cross (ST. JAMES: Friday 12:00pm – 1:00pm)
Stations of the Cross are reflections where we ponder the sorrowful road that leads to Jesus’ crucifixion, death and burial.
In parallel to the regularly scheduled Stations of the Cross inside the church, there will be a guided Children’s Stations of the Cross on Good Friday at noon in the prayer garden. Please join us as a family outdoors, or older children may be outside in the garden while parents are inside.
Silent Meditation (ST. JAMES: Friday 1:00pm – 2:00pm)
Sit in silence in St. James Church and reflect on all Jesus has done for us. The church is open for quiet this hour.
Divine Mercy Chaplet (ST. JAMES: Friday 2:00pm – 3:00pm)
In this, the final hour of the three hours of Good Friday afternoon, you can pray the chaplet with rosary beads.
Passion of the Lord (Second evening of Triduum)
(ST. JAMES: Friday 7:00pm) – No 8:15 daily Mass
(ST. LEO: Friday 6:00pm)
This, the second evening of the Triduum, is the most somber time as we listen to beautiful Scriptures about the suffering, passion and death of Jesus.
