Fr. Lecomte is a native of Normandy, France, but his dedication to the mission has taken him all over the world: the Ivory Coast in Africa; Montreal, Canada; San Diego, Los Angeles and now as our pastor!
Father spent years as a teacher and formator, founding a formation house in Montreal before being summoned to San Diego in 2005 to help launch our priestly formation program in the US as Vocation Director.
In 2011, Fr. Gerard accepted the appointment to provide pastoral care for St. John Eudes in Chatsworth, CA where he served until his appointment as pastor to our St. James- St. Leo Community effective July 1, 2017.
Father Gerard will join our staff at the end of September 2017. We extend a warm welcome to Fr. Gerard and look forward to his pastoral leadership!
